What You'll Learn

You'll get a clear explanation of ADHD, then build skills across five proven strategies:

  • Praise
  • Special Time
  • Active Ignoring
  • Rewards
  • Time Out

These strategies, when used together, consistently reduce problem behaviors and help create a calmer, more cooperative home.

You’ll get a clear explanation of ADHD and five skill-building modules: Praise, Special Time, Active Ignoring, Rewards, and Time Out. Backed by over 40 years of research, these strategies are proven to reduce problem behaviors and make family life calmer and more enjoyable.

While these skills may sound self explanatory, I’ve distilled years of in-session work with families into clear, step-by-step lessons, identifying and explaining the crucial nuances that are often overlooked. Parents constantly tell me that the depth of the lessons helps them understand and apply the strategy in a way that makes all the difference.

In this course, you'll get 6 modules broken down into lessons of 6-8 minutes each for a total of 5 hours and XX minutes. At the end of each lesson, you'll have actionable steps to take right away. To make steady progress, aim to cover at least 3 lessons each week. In the lessons, you’ll learn exactly when to use each tool, the right words that make them work, and what to avoid so you don’t accidentally make things worse. I also address real-life objections like “I shouldn’t have to offer rewards for everyday tasks” or “Won’t time out feel like abandonment?”. By the end, you’ll have a toolkit specifically designed to work with ADHD’s impulsivity and distractibility — and, if you’re a professional, strategies you can confidently recommend to parents starting tomorrow.
